TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN... RE: AMNESTY OFFICE DIDN’T SPEND FUNDS ON ONDO ELECTION

As against the huge speculations going about the Media recently the Presidential AMNESTY Programme headed by Hon. KINGSLEY KUKU wishes to refute claims by some Group of persons that the Amnesty Programs Funded the Election Bid of a particular Candidate in the just concluded ONDO GUBER Elections.

HENCEFORTH, its pertinent to remind NIGERIANS that The key Objective of Presidential AMNESTY Programme is to create conditions for STABILIZATION, CONSOLIDATION & SUSTENANCE of "PEACE" to bring about an even Development in the Niger Delta Not the Procurement of VOTES!

MOA,

PRESS STATEMENT

AMNESTY OFFICE DIDN’T SPEND FUNDS ON ONDO ELECTION

In recent weeks, the Presidential Amnesty Office has observed a pattern of negative reports in the media sponsored by some shadowy groups and targeted at the Chairman/Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta, Hon. Kingsley Kuku.
Some of the reports are not only skewed but also laced with spurious and unsubstantiated allegations against the chairman.
The PAO, in a statement by the Head of Media and Communications, Mr. Daniel Alabrah, unequivocally states that there is no iota of truth in a report credited to one of such faceless groups that it spent N249 million to prosecute the campaigns of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate in the recent Ondo State governorship election.

NIGERIANS DESERVE TO KNOW... THEIR GOVERNMENT & THE WAY FORWARD!

INFORMATION IS POWER! The Power of Information can never be over- emphasized as it goes a long way in orientating and empowering the citizenry in their daily activities. Information and general orientation can be highlighted as one of the BENCHMARK in Nation Building . . .

NIGERIANS NEED 2 KNOW!

Looking Back to the Popular TV Promo in the 1980's which featured an
adventurous Young Nigerian named ANDREW (Enebeli Elebuwa ) who was fed up with the happening in Nigeria, and therefore decided to leave the Country for Good Clutching his Bag and Walking sauntering to the Airport, he echoed his frustration: “Men, NO LIGHT, NO WATER; NO JOB…I'm tired of this Country …"I'M CHECKING OUT" ' Then the Voice of HOPE came in, VENO Marioghae Singing; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBrrkiCXYNo&sns=em

ANDREW NO CHECKOUT Ooo! "NIGERIA GO SURVIVE"

This Promo was so popular that it became a mantra in every HOUSEHOLD in Nigeria . No Doubt the Promo went a long way in changing the Orientation of Majority of Young Nigerians, thereby giving them the opportunity for them to redefine their patriotism to Nigeria and also put a stop to BRAIN-DRAIN/ EXODUS of our Youths whose goals are to travel out of Nigeria in search of greener pastures abroad instead of consolidating on the available resources
and harnessing on their potentials.

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) was established by Decree 100 of 23rd August, 1993. To establish the Agency , the Decree merged 3 Significant organs of Government , namely : (1) The Public Enlightenment (PE), (2) War Against Indiscipline (WAI) , and (3) National Orientation Movement (NOM) Divisions of the then Federal Ministry of Information and Culture with the Directorate for Social Mobilization, Self Reliance and Economic Recovery (MAMSER) .
The Rationale for the merger was to Harmonize and Consolidate the efforts and Resources of Government in the Area of Public Enlightenment, Social Mobilization and Value Re-Orientation.
The obligations of this government Agency are;

(1) To consistently Raise AWARENESS,
(2) Provide Timely and Credible Feedback;
(3) Positively Change ATTITUDES , Values and Behaviors
(4) Accurately and adequately INFORM;
(5) And sufficiently MOBILIZE Citizens to act in ways that promote Peace, Harmony; and National Development.

THEREFORE, It's the Duty and Obligations of the National Orientation Agency to Educate, Orientate and inform Nigerians on the Activities & strides of Government and also to BRIDGE the lingering GAP between Government and the entire populace by using all available resources and including the Media (Facebook , Twitter , Blogs etc). But then why are the PEOPLE still not connecting with the Government of the Day as it relates to their Daily Lives “The MOOD of the Nation" ?
INDEED! Nigerians needs to be Educated on the responsibilities of the 3 tiers of Government inter alia, the duties of the 3 arms of Government and how they relate to their existence. LGA-GRASSROOTS SENSITISATION...

In view of this, the NOA has so far FAILED Nigerians for lack of Awareness and Sensitization. Starting with JANUARY PROTEST where the common Nigerian was not sensitized about the PAINS and GAINS of the Fuel Subsidy Removal (FSR) in January 2012 which led to the unfounded PROTEST that threatened the existence of our Great Nation even though it eventually unveiled the huge corruption that has been plaguing the Downstream Sector of the Nigeria Economy , #FarCrook vs OteDollar SAGA.
Dont forget this same massive Protests heralded the lost of lives and properties of innocent Nigerians who hit the street in protest without knowing the TRUE meaning of SUBSIDY! #Ojota Jamboree.

Thus, The Negligence of the NOA has further destroyed the Relationship between Government and the GOOD PEOPLE of Nigerians. Another Monumental flaws is the area of lack of awareness in Electoral Matters as was witnessed in the recent July 14th and October 20th Gubernatorial Elections in Edo and Ondo States where Electorates were not properly informed as they exhibited all forms of ignorance during elections . The naivety and ignorance shown by Electorates during the VOTING exercise shows lack of awareness where the National Orientation Agency failed Nigerians , as they were numerous cases of Multiple Voting and Thumb Printing and even cases of the uneducated few who found it difficult to identify the Candidates of their Choice. It is definitely not the sole responsibility of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Political Parties involved because it remains a National burden .
And this brings Us back to Memories of the GOOD Old Days of MAMSER with Prof . JERRY GANA in-charge whose Communication Skills & Achievements as Director-General of National Orientation Agency is INCOMPARABLE and he left a LEGACY.

THURS, if this TRANSFORMATION Agenda will Make Sense, NOA MUST WAKE UP!

EID-EL-KABIR...

EID AL-ADHA (Arabic: عيد الأضح ‘Id al-’Adhá)], "Feast of Sacrifice" or Feast of the Sacrifice or Greater Eid, is an important Religious Holiday celebrated by Muslims Worldwide to Honor the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his Son Isma'il (Ishmael) as an act of obedience to God, before God intervened to provide him with a sheep to sacrifice instead. The Festival is also known as Id-ul-Zuha. The word "id" derived from the Arabic "iwd" means "Festival" and "Zuha" comes from "uzhaiyya" which translates to "sacrifice".
Ibrahim (Abraham) went beyond his wish in Obedience to the commandment of Allah to sacrifice his only Son Isma'il to the will of Allah, and that single act brought about abundant blessings to Ibrahim and today he is been reckoned with and celebrated Worldwide by Moslems. This ofcourse is indeed a lesson not for Moslems alone but the entire Nation. For it is time we put behind whatever betides us and live Peacefully among Ourselves,
As the Religion of Islam depicts PEACE. Eid ka bir is another time for Sober reflection, SACRIFICE & Peaceful Co-existence amongst Moslem Faithfuls around the World Hence, it is very imperative that we imbibe and key into this HOLY Feast of Sacrifice as i enjoin Nigerians to extend LOVE to their NEIGHBOURS 4 Love strengthens UNITY.
HAPPY EID-EL-KABIR...

58 HEARTY CHEERS 4 UDUAGHAN "ASAMAIGOR"

If for Nothing but for his "unwavering" resolve to TRANSFORM Delta State to the Next Level even in the face of inherited Challenges, His Excellency,
Governor Emmanuel Ewetan UDUAGHAN (CON) deserve to be celebrated as he clock 58 Today!

A Governor who has stood the TEST of Time, yet remained focused to his commitment to actualize A DELTA BEYOND OIL...

In his words..." This administration from the beginning has thought in that direction. We do not work for the Money that comes from OIL. It is Easy
Money; it has changed our orientation about hard work. Our young people are growing up in expectation of an easy life from oil.”

"I am happy to report that Five (5) Years on, we have succeeded to some extent, in changing our people’s fixation on Oil Money. Our First strategy was
to return PEACE to our State, especially as the turmoil was related to contentions over Easy Money from Oil. Without Peace & Security very little else
can take place. Given the long years of military rule and the upsurge in militancy in the entire Niger Delta region, No thanks to the Divide-And- Rule
strategy which was often employed to keep our people apart, restoring Peace and security to our State was not the easiest assignment to undertake. Our
strategy of persistently engaging the different peoples and interests in our State has ensured Peace for even development."

*A Governor who transcended all anomalies to diversify the Oil Resources into other Sectors to create Employment for the Youths. #YETA

*A Governor whose Passion for Good Health ... Provides Free MEDICARE for Deltans from 0-6 & Aged including Free Maternal Care for Pregnant Mothers.

*A 3 Times CBN Award WINNER for Advancing the lives of Women in Petty Trade through the Micro Credit Scheme.

Governor Uduaghan has done Excellently well in the Achievement of his 3POINT Agenda which is aimed @ Transformation of Delta State thru enabling PEACEFUL Environment

THEREFORE, on this Special Day, His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan UDUAGHAN truly deserves Our Prayers & Support to CONSOLIDATE on this

THE AFTERMATH OF ONDO 2012...

Discussing the October 20th Ondo Gubernatorial Election might seem meaningless without an insight on the performance of the Candidates therein based on their past Records, Lifestyle & Leadership Qualities.

The Incumbent Governor, DR. SEGUN MIMIKO who eventually emerged WINNER @ the Polls is A Man with Many Words but "LITTLE ACTION" as a trip to Ondo Town will set you off track on his highly publicised Track Record of Excellent Leadership. LACK OF INFRASTRUCTURE...

Yes! his Policies are Laudable & Enviable but they lack implementations thus couldn't hold water for a digestive Transformation. FAIRY TALES!

The A C N Candidate of ROTIMI AKEREDOLU (SAN) aka "AKETI" is one who could be described as a Power Hungry individual and a mercenary of for a Political Feat for the South-West domnated A C N. His highly exalted Mentor and Godfather could not salvage his ambition as earlier Boasted on different Medias and Rallies.
Kudos to the People of Ondo for foreseeing the Predator on Time.

The PDP was also expected to Dance Home in Victory judging from the antecedents of OLUSOLA OKE as a National PDP stalwart, but was wrongly proved by the Electorate decision to Vote for a Choiced Candidate whom they saw in MIMIKO

Now that the Elections are over, with the Good People of Ondo Celebrating what they call another Election Transformation in Nigeria, we shouldn't fail to shower encomiums to whom deserves it. President JONATHAN is no doubt keeping His Words in ensuring itch FREE & FAIR Elections. As witnessed in Edo State some Months back Thurs, Ondo State can never be an exception.

As I join the rest of the World in Congratulating Gov. Olusegun Mimiko on his Re-Election I humbly employ all aggrieved Candidates to seek Legal Actions in contesting their disputes instead of instigating Violence on the innocent Citizens of Ondo. And to The LATEST GOVERNOR in Town DR. OLUSEGUN MIMIKO to fully utilise the FRESH Mandate given him to Serve with Passion and take Ondo to the PROMISE LAND.

CONGRATS 2 THE PEOPLE OF ONDO "THE SUNSHINE STATE"

AS ONDO DECIDES TODAY...

DEMOCRACY have always been a Government OF the People, FOR the People and BY the People. With the franchise of the citizenry and Electorates been the
greatest tool for achieving the maximum dividends of a Democratic Government.

Nigeria no doubt has been plagued with issues of electoral fraud and irregularities since independence and that has been highlighted as the major cause
of failed governance and corrupt practices.

During his Electioneering Campaigns President Jonathan promised a better Electoral system which was saw through the Sanitizing of INEC and its
Leadership structure and the strict monitoring policies by both Local and International observers which recorded a high amount of appraisals and
commendations.

The July 14th Edo Gubernatorial Elections was another TEST of the Credibility of President Jonathan in keeping his words on Zero Tolerance for Electoral
Frauds, which the People were given the opportunity to express their franchise and choose their desired Leader.

President Jonathan has once again reiterated his commitment and resolve in pioneering an itch free election by assuring the good people of Ondo that
their vote will count, despite the prowess and political affiliation of the respective candidates.

Also in his bid to ensure a successful Poll President Jonathan as the Chief Security officer of the Nation has mandated and ordered a full deployment of
Crack Team of Security Officers comprising of the Nigerian Police, Nigerian Army and members of the Civil Defense Corp.

This truly will turn out to be the most Policed Election in Nigeria.

...and may the BEST Man WIN!

JONATHAN APPROVES 3,642 EX-MILITANTS inclusion in Amnesty Programme

"AMNESTY IS NIGERIA PROJECT"

Going by his Records, President Goodluck Jonathan has once again demonstrated true LEARDERSHIP qualities & Capacity to Transform Nigeria ... Bearing in mind, DEVELOPMENT can only thrive where there's PEACE.

NO WONDER, it didn't come as a surprise to many Nigerians when Mr. President after due consultation with the YOUTHS & Leaders of the Oil Producing Communities approved yet another batch of 3,642 EX-MILITANTS for the ongoing Presidential AMNESTY Programme.

Considering the huge SUCCESS story of the AMNESTY Programme Home & Abroad TRANSFORMING the Lives of Youths & sustaining PEACE & TRANQUILTY of the once troubled Niger Delta Region.
Therefore, it's indeed pertinent to state emphatically that the Amnesty Programme thus, orchestrated the prevailing PEACE in the NIGER DELTA which in return has boosted the NATION'S ECONOMY to 2.6 Million Barrel Per Day Hmmm!

Thus, In order to further sustain this meritorious Feat, No Doubt an absolute necessity to keep Aglow the prevailing PEACE in the Region. Even with the 2013 Budget of 4.92Trillion Naira, Nigeria needs to employ every means in meeting the Target so as to keep the stone of Sure & Steady Transformation Rolling. With this it can be deduced Substantially that AMNESTY is not a Niger Delta Project but a National Interest because its prevelance forms a large part of our Existence and Integrity as a Nation.
.
...The Federal Government's Amnesty Programme is not an issue confined to the Niger-Delta but rather a NIGERIA PROJECT, Senate Deputy Leader, Abdul NINGI posited

On this NOTE, President Goodluck Ebelemi Jonathan has further confirmed he has the CAPACITY to LISTEN & ACT accordingly on any issue bothering Any Group or Sect In Our Great Country, NIGERIA.

LESSONS FROM AMERICA PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE LIVE!_MOAgbajoh

YES, Mitt Romney was @ his BEST. But Americans don't need a "GUESS MAN"

Romney lacked SPECIFICS... Only Aggressive motions,

BUT! OBAMA stayed PRESIDENTIAL All the Way...

“Let’s be real,“They have Run a very Good CAMPAIGN thus far. I don’t think that President Obama did what this campaign wanted him to do. I think he was off his game tonight. But let’s don’t go overboard here. It will be like a Big sort of Pushback. …
My Point is this — President Obama came in, he wanted to have a Conversation. It takes two People to have a Conversation. Mitt Romney came in with a CHAINSAW. He’s trying to talk to a Chainsaw_CARVILLE (Campaign Adviser to Fmr. President Bill Clinton) said

Leadership is not just the Empowerment & Privilege to RULE, instead it is a Lifestyle with deep sense rooted in Wisdom, PASSION, Service and Succour. Over the Years Our Polity has produced diverse Leaders & Rulers with repute and the otherwise.

PRESIDENCY is Not about RUDENESS & Outburst like some of Our Elder Statesmen do... Abeg I No Call Names Ooo

Drawing strong emphasis from the above story, President Goodluck JONATHAN GCFR like the "EAGLE" that he is has portrayed EXCELLENT Leadership abilities by Calming the Storms in the Nation's Polity despite the Challenges in Security & Negativity Publicity steered against him.

No Doubt! President Jonathan's phlegmatic approach is yielding results, so therefore it is so imperative as Law abiding Citizens to imbibe and sustain this Feat in order to pioneer Our integrity

I Pray OPPOSITION learn from this,

Respect MR. PRESIDENT like Romney did but make Ur Case Clear be "SPECIFIC"

OPPOSITION Pls Take Note!

"THEIR REWARD IS IN HEAVEN"...TEACHER'S VERIFICATION EXERCISE ‘ll Eliminate Waste_UDUAGHAN

By Biblical injunction "The REWARD of Teachers is in HEAVEN... Though no longer admissible. It's therefore pertinent to stress that Teachers truely deserve Better Treatment #PACKAGE been the custodian of KNOWLEDGE Hence, the TEACHERS must show "Susceptibility"

HOWEVER, this has not been the case in Delta State as Teachers are rather found guilty of ABSENTEEISM than the Students and this was strongly condemned by The Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan UDUAGHAN (CON) at an Inter-Denominational Sercice in commemoration of NIGERIA @52

In his words,The GOVERNOR said, Preliminary Investigations had revealed that many Genuine Teachers were not always in their Classrooms"

Thus, its No LONGER in Vogue for Teachers to abandon the Classrooms engaging in PRIVATE petty Trade to the detriment of the EDUCATIONAL Foundation of the Future Generation of Our Great Nation.

Therefore, Inline with his "Unwavering" Resolve to Transform the EDUCATION Sector, by "INVESTING in Teachers 2 INSPIRE The Students..., Gov. Uduaghan has defiled all "ANOMALIES" in his WELFARE Package 4 Teachers in Delta State by Prompt PAYMENT of TEACHERS Monthly Salary.

Hence, Our Teachers must show commitment so that their REWARD ll not Only be in HEAVEN but also here on EARTH.

Let it be known that Delta State is no longer a Safe HEAVEN for Incompetent Teachers who wishes to collect "JUMBO PAY", yet frustrates the full implementation of Governor UDUAGHAN'S Three (3) Point Agenda.
