Another Doctrine of NECESSITY...AMEACHI "CUT TO SIZE"

"How are the Mighty Falling"

Unlike in the case of SECTION 145 of 1999, during the Late. Yar Adua/Jonathan impasse, this time it was evoked to checkmate the excesses of D "Almighty Governor" Ameachi who has over stepped his bounds beyond the original mandate

of the Nigeria Governors Forum #NGF which was formed for developmentantal comparison & advancement rather turned into a cartel making himself into a mini Egyptian god just to truncate the Transformation Agenda of President Goodluck Ebelemi Jonathan.

Thus, the choice of Gov. Godswill Akpabio is the right step in the right direction as his Leadership attributes wholly compliments the efforts and programs of President Jonathan.

If only Rotimi Ameachi has learnt from his predecessors Odili, Ibori & Sylva may be by Now the story would ve been different.

However, the Right man was found swiftly for the job Godswill AkpabioThe "UNCOMMON TRANSFORMATION Governor of Gods own State AKWA IBOM to compliment the huge success already recorded by the Jonathan Transformation Initiatives.

As it stands, the Ruling Party "PDP" is employing every possible strategy to retain its position and sovereignty in the polity all in a bid to sustain the TRANSFORMATION AGENDA of President GEJ, hence it has no time for any over ambitious Governor or personality to drag its reputation, pedigree and plans to the mud.
Most especially now that APC & CODEIN are Ganging-up to kill the Nigeria Dream...

TRUE STORY: ONE YEAR DOWN THE LANE; BATTERED BUT NOT SHATTERED...

Like it remains a Tradition where unfortunate and bad hings happen to good people on earth globally, though a close observation shows that such trends tends to promote goodwill and steadfastness as it could be referred to as a TEST OF FIRE as it was experienced by JOB in the Bible days. But one question that remains unanswered and seem almost rhetorical is the fact majority of these victims receives their Baptism of Fire from trusted and close allies and also the fact that Negligence becomes the trend even from people hold on a very high esteem.

The case of Barr. Mary Oyibocha-Agbajoh (PNM) is no exception to this, the PRINCESS OF THE NIGER DELTA as she is commonly called by close friends and associates of this fine Enigma and Crusader of TRANSFORMATION. It could be recalled that the Media made sway of her gruesome ordeal about a Year ago, when she was inhumanely attacked by some dare Devil miscreants and assassins.

On this date 24th February 2012, after a successful outing with her BOSS Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan to an all important Town Hall Meeting for the UMEH Need Road Project, on her return home she was gruesomely attacked by some Dare Devil assailants with the help of her Driver giving them every technique they require to get at her easily at her Asaba residence.

She was attacked at about 07:15pm at her Asaba residence with her Head shattered and left to die at the Mercy of fate, thereafter making way with her Vehicle (Toyota Highlander Jeep), luckily her fate found mercy from God and miraculously she gained consciousness by 6am the next day in the pool of her own blood where she crawled out to her Neighbour whose timely intervention was instrumental.

It was exactly Four (4) Days later when she came out of COMA and realized that she has been admitted in a Private ward with stitches all over her, still dazed with the events around her she never was despaired nor deterred by her unfortunate predicament. For it took more advice and pressure from the Doctors and loved ones around to stop her from accessing the Social Media #Facebook&Tweeter still in the fight for Good Governance and effective dissemination of facts in eradicating myopic views about Government

One Year down the lane, The Tamuno-Ibi of the Niger Delta is still kicking strong, as she has come out even stronger on her fight for TRANSFORMATION, Championing her Goodluck Initiatives (Gi07) Organization with even more vigor and enthusiasm.
As she believes President GOODLUCK Ebelemi Jonathan has got all it takes to Transform Nigeria if only Nigerians will give him the desired solidarity and love.

Below is a more detailed report by James Sowole.
The Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Niger Delta and
Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Kingsley Kuku, has
said that the workload of the amnesty scheme given to him by the
President would not allow him to play any politics in his home state,
Ondo, in 2015.
Kuku’s clarification came against the backdrop of a report that he was
interested in running for the senatorial seat of the Ondo South in
2015.
The Presidential aide made the remark in Ondo Town while speaking withE
journalists after he was honoured as a Fellow of Adeyemi College of
Education, Ondo, during the celebration of the college’s 32ndE
convocation ceremony.
He said: “I read a report in the newspapers where it was analyzed that
I am one of the top contenders for the senatorial seat of Ondo South
in 2015. Though I hail from Arogbo in Ese-Odo council of the state,
one of the council areas that make up Ondo South senatorial district,
I say boldly before you today that I have no plan to contest any
elective position.
“The national assignment given to me by my boss, President Goodluck
Jonathan, in the Amnesty office is more important than any elective
position and I cannot afford to fail on the job.”
He said the success of the Amnesty Programme is very dear to the heart
of President Jonathan “and so I can’t dump the job to seek any
elective position since the amnesty programme will terminate in 2015
and the President won’t allow me abandoning the boat of success of the
Programme, midway.”
Kuku was one of the four prominent Nigerians that was honoured with
Fellowship of the college when two Graduands Akindele Oluwabukola Yemi

AMNESTY FINISHED WORK... KUKU declared

IS THE PRESIDENTIAL AMNESTY PROGRAMME WORKING?

The above is the expected and anticipated response from any objective
Nigerian on how well the instituted Presidential Amnesty Programme is
doing sef?

The sole Objective of the programme remains to Disarm, Demobilize & Reintegrate the Ex-Agitators into useful and resourceful citizens of the Federal Republic.
Prior to this, it is worthy of Note that the activities of these Ex-Agitators pinched hard on the Nation’s Economy, International Image and Security. As cases of kidnaps and hostilities were rampant thereby disturbing the activities of Oil Exploration which remains Nigeria’s sole Economic mainstay over time.
As the resounding Testimonies of the programme keeps pouring in daily, and as such debunking the earlier claims and criticisms of pessimists who never saw "LIGHT" @ End of the Tunnel of the Presidential Amnesty Programme even prior to its Inauguration in 2009/2010.

As Facts shows that the Nation has enjoyed an overwhelming production of Oil, reaching an all time 2.4 Million Barrels daily as against the epileptic 700,000 daily production owing to the hostilities in the Niger Delta region.
Though the programme has met series of embargoes and brick walls lately, yet it has continued to thrive with maximum support from President GOODLUCK JONATHAN who is committed in maintaing the reigning PEACE in the Niger Delta Region and also bringing to life the true Dividends of DEMOCRACY to Nigerians.

Below is a interview excerpt on the journey to far with the Special
Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and also the Chairman of the
Presidential Amnbesty Programme. Hon. Kingsley KUKU

-Mary Oyibocha-Agbajoh

Mr. Kingsley Kuku is Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta
and Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme. He speaks on the
successes, challenges, and post-2015 fate of the five-year

amnesty programme pronounced by the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua
on June 25, 2009, which has been implemented since 2010. Kuku says the
amnesty programme has discharged its mandate

and calls on other relevant federal government agencies to keep their
parts of the amnesty deal.
He also bemoans the endless appearance of Ex-militants in the Niger
Delta seeking inclusion in the amnesty programme, saying this could
doom both the programme and peace in the region, in this recent
interactive session with journalists in Lagos. Vincent Obia brings the
excerpts:

What is the update on the amnesty for Niger Delta armed agitators
proclaimed by the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua in 2009?
At the end of the deadline, 20, 192 persons came out from the various
states, various camps in the Niger Delta, led by leaders like Chief
Tompolo, Chief Ateke Tom, Boy Loaf, Fara Dagogo, and so many
ex-agitation leaders.
We have said it severally that the acceptance of this offer was
voluntary and government entered into a contract with those who
accepted this offer by promising a proper and non-forceful DDR
programme. By DDR I’m talking about Disarmament, Demobilisation,
Rehabilitation or Reintegration of those who accept the offer of
amnesty.

It can be recalled that the introduction of the Presidetial Amnesty Programme is the rationale behind the known PEACE and Tranquility experienced in the Region which has further increased Our Oil Revenue which accounts to over 90% of the Country’s generated Revenue/Income.
Hence it is necessary for a sustenance to keep the Nation’s Economy in check.

AMNESTY SAVED NIGERIA... Nigeria generated N33bn daily from introduction of Amnesty Programme_Kuku

N33 Billion into the Nation’s Coffers...

The need for the sustenance of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) is been made feasible daily as a result of the phenomenal achievements recorded since its inception, worthy of note is the unending revenue it has generated due to the relative PEACE experienced in the Niger Delta Region.

Due to the over dependence on OIL for the sustenance of the Nigerian State, it has become so necessary to place all mercenaries at work for maximum daily production, which has been made possible with the introduction of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).
Which has further created the conducive Atmosphere for the Presidency to take on mega Projects anchored on Human Capital Development and Job Creation at much ease with the Resources readily available through the stability of Crude Sales from the once Hostile Region?

Below is an excerpt by;
Ameh Comrade Godwin on January 28, 2013

-MOA.

The Special Adviser to President Jonathan on Niger Delta, Mr. Kingsley Kuku has said that the Amnesty programme for Niger Delta ex militants gained an average of N33 billion into the nation’s coffers, which led to an unprecedented successes in infrastructural development.

Briefing newsmen at the weekend, Mr. Kuku said the recouped earnings helped the administration to achieve remarkable feats such as revitalization of the railways, rebuilding of the airports, improved power supply and accomplishments in agriculture among others.

The Adviser also lauded President Jonathan for his support to the programme.

He said: “From a production level of a paltry 700,000 barrels of crude oil per day as at January 2009, the relative peace that now prevails in the Niger Delta has aided the remarkable growth of Nigeria’s oil production to between 2.6 and 2.7 million barrels per day as at today”.

“If you compute this savings with prevailing exchange rate of N160 to $1, daily production savings for Nigeria and its Joint Venture Partners currently stand at N33.4 Billion per day. If you break this down further especially given that oil production in Nigeria hovered between 2.4 and 2.6 barrels in 2012, you would discover that savings for Nigeria and the JV partners for year ending 2012 is estimated to be at about N6.3 trillion.”

“Because of fresh earnings in the oil sector, the President is funding and pursuing the speedy revamping and Transformation of several moribund but critical sectors of our economy. President Jonathan is conscious of the fact that no nation can boast of development without an efficient and reliable transport sector. Today, on his able watch, the aviation sector in this country is enjoying a fresh lease and can now compare with the best in at least Africa.”

“For the first time in 20 years, in 2012 alone the Federal Government remodeled and reconstructed 12 Key airports across the country with a view to ensuring that they became true centres of commercial and economic activities. Today these airports are wearing new looks with their terminals totally overhauled for the comfort and safety of air travelers.”

“The revolution in the sector is aimed at restoring Nigeria’s aviation industry to its rightful place as a hub in Africa aviation and to be able to contribute to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of our dear country.”

“Similarly, the achievements of the Presidential Amnesty Programme have helped Nigeria earn enough money to revamp the comatose railway sector after almost 50 years inactivity and criminal neglect. The Nigeria Railway is back, thanks to the transformation agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan. Not too long ago, the President himself led several top government officials to take a long ride in one of the new locomotives owned by the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) from Lagos to Abeokuta, Ogun State.”

“The commissioning of the reactivated Lagos-Jebba rail lines which cost the nation N12.13 billion is without any iota of doubt, a major achievement by this administration. The President has also launched the Maiduguri-Duwari Mass Transit Train Service (MTTS). Already, the corporation has begun mass transit train services in Jos, Kano and Kaduna.
