A German Opposition Leader called for Buhari immediate Expulsion From Germany,

*German Women raise against Nigerian Leader*

In a press conference with the German leader in Berlin, President Buhari in what might be perhaps his most stupid political blunder yesterday in Germany, in answering a reporters question on the role of his wife in his government, has this to say..." _my wife belongs in my Kitchen and in my living room and other room_"

... what a statement!  That was politically incorrect.

The ill adviced President totally forgot that he is standing next to  a woman who is a world leader.
Here in Germany as in the rest of Europe, the issue of women's right is a delicate one as women have come a long way fighting inequality in both society and at work place. Without warning, a visibly angry Mrs Merkel  (the German Chancellor) quickly ended the press conference to save the President further embarrassment.
The emancipation of women in Europe is a civil rights issue, that is why feminist groups in Germany immediately reacted to his outing as a hate speech and demanded his exit from their territory. A German opposition leader called for his immediate expulsion from Germany, while a renowned German newspaper in its editorial, has this to say about our President.
_He is simply a dumb leader, hailed as the Messiah of Africa's most populous democracy  after winning election in 2015 His agenda of fighting corruption which was given a blessing by the West, especially former colonial master, England is very unpopular in his country as citizens are more concerned about the economic hardship and joblessness to his fight for financial recovery_.

It went ahead to say,...

_when it comes to world issues, the former general has little knowledge of events of the moment and hardly articulates.The more you listen to him, the dumber you become_ -;

Hard words, but written with some elements of sincerity.
Germany has a woman as head of state. Germany has mother with eight children as defence minister, (comnander of a powerful millitary force) something unthinkable in most parts of the world especially, Africa. The notion here is that, girls can be everything including being President .

  2. A very sensitive position in the Nigerian government is the position of a finance ministers. I woman holds that position. I shall post another article detailing the contributions of Buhari to his wife's career development. She was just a school cert holder when he married her.

  3. MUHAMMDU BUHARI'S CONTRIBUTION TO AISHA'S CAREER
Aisha Buhari was born Aisha Halilu, on 17th February 1971, in Adamawa state. She did her primary and secondary school education in the same state.
When Aisha married Muhammadu Buhari on 2nd December 1989, she only had a secondary school leaving certificate at the time.

Based on his pragmatic outlook to life and a zeal to empower women, especially his wife, Muhamamdu Buhari continuously sponsored Aisha's education up to masters degree level.

Furthermore, he encouraged her to pursue business, so that she could be independent and make contribution to society.

These are some of Aisha's achievements while living with Muhamamdu Buhari his wife:

    1. Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

    2. Master's degree in International Affairs and Strategic Studies from the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna.

    3. Diploma in Beauty Therapy from the Carlton Institute of Beauty Therapy, Windsor, United Kingdom.

    4. Post-graduate diploma in Cosmetology and Beauty from Academy Esthetique Beauty Institute of France.

    5. Member of the United Kingdom Vocational Training and Charitable Trust.

    6. Member International Health and Beauty Council.

    7. Founder/Managing Director of Hanzy Spa and Principal of Hanzy Beauty Institute.

    8. Resource Person to the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

    9. Published a book titled "Essentials of Beauty Therapy: A Complete Guide for Beauty Specialists”.

    10. Patron of various charity organisations at home and abroad.

Regardless of the joke he cracked in Germany, that his wife belongs to his kitchen, living room and the other room, this man, Muhammadu Buhari, has done everything conceivable to assist his wife attain fulfilment, independence, and thus become a proud contributor to human society.

Muhammadu Buhari has remained a faithful husband and a great father to Aisha's 5 children.

Ask yourself this sincere question; how many men out there on the planet are this good to their wives?

Fellow compatriots, I solicit for your fervent prayers for our President.

May God bless Nigeria and Nigerians. Amen.

    6. Don't mind him. After acquiring these knoweledg, he expect her voice not be heard. Limiting her to the Kitchen, his room and the other room. Hmmmm

    7. Helping her to achieve these degrees as his wife is not a big deal, after all, She's his wife. Are u telling us that, since he helped her achieved all these, She should be ignored? Neglected? Limited to only his kitchen? His bedroom? & the other room? Why blowing his trumpet Oga? Did you know how times, She satisfies him in Bed? Devoted to only him alone, faithful, gave him 5 lovely children and stood by him all these years and now he finally becomes our President, he dare think that her opinion does not matter?

God have mercy on this country. It is the duty of the wife to call the husband to order. A good leader, listen to his followers and give them space to contribute when needed.

In Germany, he was with a Woman who is the head of State. Am sure, he honoured her, adored her unlike the way he talks to his wife. He only insulted himself and indirectly told her that he has no respect for political Women which She's one of..

    8. Ashia is the wife of our president and there is no political position for president's wife in our constitution, so comparing Ashia with German's chancellor is wrong. Is not about women in general, is about Ashia being the wife of our president and the duty of a wife is to support her husband and vice versa not to have a different opinion with her husband publicly.

    9. @Egwuchukwu,But she can campaign for him during election, tell people what he told her he'll do if elected, only for her to realize after election that they were all lies and he has been hijacked by other people whom did nothing to get him into power. He relegated her to his kitchen, bedroom and the other rooms. She has lost the confidence of her hubby to other people, only God knows what she has been through trying to win him back and redirect his vision before she chose to let Nigerians know what is happening. He's the president of Nigeria and should get his first guide from his wife before anybody else. What she succeeded in doing was to exonerate herself from the sinking ship. I hold her to high esteem for that as she has truly demonstrated her love for the country by her action.

  8. @ adoke.. Nigeria is simply a better place without the likes of u and Buhari.. I am compelled to call u dumb because ur education has in no way reflected your exposure and orientation. So Aisha has to lick the boot of a pedophile because he sent her to school. Your children will surely fall prey of the society you have built. Keep it up!

  14. Jack Essien, you spoke my mind. Nigerians graduate top students all over the world and we end up with this. I say Nigeria is more than this and it is so sad to see that nothing is being done or can be done because a group of people have decided to hold us to ransome. He is an embarrassment to our country and we as a people. A president who still thinks Germany is East and West in 2015, please!

  17. You are not different from Bulgari. Your type are not useful to this country. Common sense would have told Buhari that he was in a country where a woman was their leader, hence cousion would have been his watch word. He thinks every one is Aisha that belongs to his kitchen. Indeed he is DUMB.

  19. Please lets not bad mouth our country and disdain its leadership. Truth be told, the comment was a presidential faux pas. No one really knows if he was speaking from his cultural experiences, not knowing that there are many more cultures who do not subtend to such mannerism. I believe our president has learnt his lesson, so lets let it go. Hope such embarrassment doesn't repeat itself again. We have had far too many dramas from this Government. Cheers all.
