ANOTHER MILESTONE ACHIEVEMENT...EX-MILITANTS INVENT VOLTAGE REGULATOR #Ghana

Niger Delta Ex-Militants undergoing training in Ghana under the auspices of the Presidential Amnesty Program has once again recorded another landslide achievement as witness the graduation of yet another set of the Ex-Agitators sent to Ghana for Vocational Training.

As reported, the Niger Delta Trainees (EX-MILITANTS) were successful in the invent of an Automatic Voltage Regulator, A Feat which was exhibited before their Ghanain counterparts and colleagues witnessed appraisal by both the Nigerian and Ghanaian Governments.

Surely this will be another mark in the Nations Transformational stride been led by the Visionary Leadership of President Goodluck JONATHAN as we improve in Human and Manpower Development through the Empowerment and Education of these Youths.

AMNESTY TRAINEES DESIGN VOLTAGE REGULATOR
Trainees under the Presidential Amnesty Programme for Niger Delta youths
have recorded yet another feat, this time in Ghana as they have R
designed an electrical equipment that regulates power voltage.

Known as the Magnetic Box, it regulates low and high voltage with a
built-in timer.

The equipment was among several other products displayed by the trainees
at a mini-exhibition during their graduation from the National
Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) in Accra.


One Hundred and Ninety Eight (198) delegates underwent training in
Welding and Fabrication, Electrical Installation, Auto Mechanic, and
Plumbing/Pipe Fitting at five centres across the country.

Speaking at the event, an elated Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Ghana,
Ambassador Ademola Onafowokan, said the feat achieved by the trainees
was “another milestone in Nigeria’s endeavor to create a pool of skilled
individuals.”

This is definitely the Vision shared by aficionados of dividends of Democracy who have experienced the Strides achieved by Comrade OshioBaba.
In My few sojourns in Benin City, #EkenwanRoad Pre-Oshiomole and Post-Igbinedion, I can say Oshiomole has raise a the bar for subsequent Edo State Governors to emulate. A Template which demand anyone aspiring to occupy the seat must possess Big Foot to size up what Oshiomole has so far recorded.

THUS, It is My earnest conviction going by the Passion in his Speech and the progress on ground that He will surpass previous Achievements.

Like Elected Local Government Chairmen, CARETAKER Committee Chairmen are appointed in some circumstance by the Governor who has been Elected by the People. Those appointed to occupy these Offices are persons of impeccable and incredible character capable of delivering the Dividends of Grassroot Democracy to the People unbehalf of the Governor.


The Caretaker Commiittee Chairmen are carefully and properly scrutinized before they are appointed to meet the wish and aspiration of the populace.

The Committee Chairmen hold this Office in TRUST for the People. They administer the activities of the Local Government in line with the Policy and Programmes of the State Government.

In Delta State, Beside the fact that there have been setbacks in the process of confirming those nominated to conduct Local Government in Delta State, the agitation of many Deltans have been for the Governor to raise Caretaker Committee to keep up with the spirit of the Grassroot Politics. The People's Governor Dr. Emmanuel UDUAGHAN (CON) in his capacity to deliver on his promises to Deltans inaugurated Caretaker Committee Chairmen to pilot the affairs of the Local Government Area pending when the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) will be reconstituted to conduct Local Government Elections that will give Room for the People to make their CHOICE from the pool of candidates that will aspire to fill the Offices #As-At-When-Due,

The Governor, acknowledge the fact that Local Government is the closest TIER of Government to the People. hence, Genuine Attention should be given to it.

The Newly Appointed Chairmen are expected to keep the BALL of Local Government Politics Rolling. They are to among other things Work-Hand in Hand with the Governor to realize the 3-Point Agenda; Security,Human Capital and Infrastructural Development. At the point of the appointment, they were also charged by the Governor to show keen interest in the area of SECURITY & SANITATION because they are among the most challenging issues bedevilling the Delta State

Few Weeks Ago, Nigerians, particularly IJAWS were thrilled to the DRAMA of Words between Rivers and Bayelsa with the theme dwelling on the ownership of Oil wells situated on the borders of these States. SOKU/OLUASIRI OIL WELLS/ OIL FIELD

The Good Side of the WAR-TONE Drama was that it was acted on a perspective expected of both Parties- Rivers and Bayelsa adopted Facts in proving their points though it was in the Media COURT with Public as Judge. This Facts were complemented with a Peaceful Protest by Elders and Chiefs of the reverred Kalabari Kingdom to drive home their position. Led by Alabo Graham Douglas

While this Drama was going on, the exchanged of words by these Ijaws which later involved the personality and integrity of President Goodluck Jonathan into the scene invited the Presidential Spokesman Unknown to Reuben Abati, the Drum that was sounded demanded the attention of Only In-House Members. it's A "FAMILY Affair" Hence, the Reuben approach of using the "SCHOOL BOY" Phrase to describe the stage aggravated the Mood of the ELDERS. especially the Kalabaris whom the phrase was thrown in their direction is totally unacceptable hence Reuben must Apologize!

However, It is worthy to Note here that the Two kingdoms-Nembe and Kalabari who are at loggerhead over Oil Well are of the IJAW NATION. In this regard, they are kiths and kindred. most especially now that Governor Seriake Dickson has declared Bayelsa State THE JERUSALEM of Ijaw Nation... THE "HOME 4 All IJAWS"
