JONATHAN, UDUAGHAN Working Together Towards A Brighter & Greater Delta State.

In line with his vision to forestall and sustain the already existing Peace and camaraderie in the Niger Delta in particular and Nigeria in general, President GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN (GCFR) remains focused and undeterred with an high sense of responsibility for the laudable landmark of establishing THE NIGERIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY in the heart of DELTA STATE Okerenkoko Gbaramatu.

There is no gainsaying the Governor of Delta State, Dr. EMMANUEL EWETAN UDUAGHAN is always at the centre stage of PEACE KEEPING in the Oil-Rich Niger Delta Region which has maintained an enviable place in his Three (3) Point Agenda in Transforming Delta State. His administration has fostered & sustained the prevailing peace in Delta state which had portrayed Him as a very close ally of Our DEAR PRESIDENT.

NO WONDER Mr President had shown so much CONFIDENCE in Uduaghan for his great ACHIEVEMENTS so far and especially in making Delta State a hub for INVESTORS and TOURISTS alike.

The PEACE created in Delta State by GOV. UDUAGHAN in conjunction with High Chief Government Ekpumopolo a. k.a TOMPOLO who had secured the Riverine areas from the activities of PIRATES, ILLEGAL BUNKERERS AND OTHER SECURITY VICES that may want to pose any threat to the existing tranquillity enjoyed in the Region, which no doubt encouraged MR PRESIDENT to site the SHIP YARD, DOCK YARD and NIGERIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY in the Creeks of Niger Delta Region

This ground breaking achievements in Delta State were as a result of
the PEACE DRIVE engineered by GOV. UDUAGHAN and TOMPOLO.

Hence, President Goodluck Jonathan confidently STORMED Delta state
RECENTLY through the Osubi Airport, enroute Okerenkoko for the GROUND BREAKING/OPENING Ceremonies of the NIMASA, Ship and Dock yard. The President also Flagged off activities at the temporary site of the Nigerian Maritime University, in Kurutie both in Warri-South West Local Government Area of Delta State. The establishment

of a Ship/Dock Yard in the Region will no doubt boost Water-Way Transportation thereby opening doors for better economic activities for the Riverine dwellers. Same could be said for the establishment of a MARITIME UNIVERSITY which would harness and propagate the level of literacy, infrastructural and socio-economic
development in the Region.

DELTA ALWAYS ON THE MOVE.....
