Jonathan’s Impeachment Threat:

One may not be able to fully define politics in Nigeria without cutting across the Dramatic episodes of it. But the Irony of it all is the fact that these Dramatic episodes is far from been a fanfare like you may want to wish it to be.

The latest in the fold of events is the Impeachment threat thrown on the floor of the lower house against President Goodluck Jonathan by Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila from the antagonistic Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), he threatened that the house will be forced to invoke Section 143 of the Constitution states inter alia that: which okays the outright impeachment of the President or his Vice all in the guise of any act considered as gross misconduct by the Parliamentarians, if by September the President fails to implement 100% of the 2012 fiscal budget.

Since the threat was made by the house before they proceded for vacation there have been diverse reactions trailing it.

As a voice for the voiceLESS Nigerian youths i wish to say irrevocably that this is another act of Political vendetta and witch-haunting in order to halt the TRANSFORMATION AGENDA of the President, and also to tarnish his fight against corrupt practises in the polity.

The Questions we must be ready to ask ourselves as Nigerians remain thus;

1. How does budget implementation act as a gross misconduct on the path of the President?

2. How well does the prompt and full implementation of these budgets by previous administrations best affects Nigerians positively. Instead of stories of massive lootings and thefts.

3. How well have they (Parliamentarians) affected the lives of Nigerians, instead they loot massively and flare around with Jumbo pay. Going from one vacation or the other to squander our resources as a Nation.

4. Is this how they intend to pay a man who has taken the pain to sweep corruption out of the Land.

The truth must be told, Nigerians can no longer fold their arms while a little group of self centred individuals destroy the Nation in a bid to enrich themselves and their ambitions.

We must say NO!

WE MUST OCCUPY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES IF THAT IS HOW THEY WANT IT.
