The Nigerian Golden Eaglets became the most successful Team in FIFA U-17 World Cup history with a 3-0 Win over holders Mexico at the Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
This is yet another remarkable VICTORY for Nigeria and for the President, Dr. GOODLUCK Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan (GCFR) for ensuring that Sporting activities are being revived in the Nation which is a pivotal to the Transformation Agenda of this administration. Never has it happened in the history of Nigeria to receive TWO major football Victories in ONE single year. ONLY under President Jonathan has this miraculously height has been achieved.
As we Congratulate the Golden Eaglets we must not forget to highlight the importance of the Men and Women President Jonathan has deployed to man the Sports Ministry of the Country to bring about Uncommon-Change and successes. The final was a rematch of the 6-1 win Nigeria inflicted on theSKY Mexicans in Group F play and sees the Golden Eaglets lay hands on the Junior World TROPHY for the fourth time in their history, one better than South American giants Brazil. When the final whistle went in the UAE capital, Fans and Players alike REJOICED, Fingers pointed to the SKY, with what has become the Traditional Nigerian celebration of: “YES, YES YES!”
This is also commending the Evergreen KELECHI IHEANACHO whose Eyes On The GOAL was not distracted but delivered Victory to his Motherland even received a GOLDEN GIFT for being oustanding. I Congratulate the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria on their 3-0 Triumph over Mexico in the final Match of the 2013 FIFA Under-17 World Soccer Championship played Friday evening in Abu Dhabi.” Stating that he will host the Golden Eaglets to a state sponsored Banquet on Sunday in State House.
