SOUTH-SOUTH RE-UNITED 4 JONATHAN... "NEW FOUND LOVE"

SOUTH-SOUTH Geo-Political Zone Elders and Leaders buried their Political HACHETS on Thursday 6th September 2010 and they agreed not to allow the region to be intimidated by any Group, to give up the Constitutional Right of President Goodluck Ebelemi JONATHAN to hold Office for Eight (8) Years.

The decision was taken at a General Meeting of the South/South Peoples Assembly, SSPA, the Umbrella body of the Zone in WARRI, Delta State with eminent Leaders, Political GLADIATORS and Power Brokers from the SIX STATES. In attendance were Representatives from Delta, Akwa/Ibom, Rivers, Cross-Rivers, Edo and Bayelsa. #BRACED

Governor Uduaghan who played host to the SUMMIT expressed joy @ the New Found LOVE in the Niger Delta Region and encouraged the sustenance of the Unity and Love all in a bid to source means in solving lingering Regional Feuds and SETBACKS. Which include the 76 Oil WELL Saga between Cross-River and Akwa-Ibom States.

Present @ the Summit were eminent Personalities drawn from all six states of the zone, who are key Players both in the Region and in the Nation at large.

2. Representatives from all State Governments from the zone.
3. Elder E. K Clark, the Ijaw National Leader and Former Minister of the Federal Republic.
4. Olorogun Felix Ibru Former Governor of Delta State.

Chief E. K Clark reiterated the fact that he is HIGHLY DISTURBED because of the Dis-Unity & Divides of Leaders across the ZONE "There have been disagreement between us and we have not been speaking in "ONE VOICE" and i ask Myself if it pleases God to take me today what Legacy will i be leaving for SSPA?
That is why i take up the Challenge to call this Meeting".

Speaking also in the Summit was the Renowned Former Governor of Delta State, OLOROGUN, FELIX OVUODUROYE IBRU whose Legacies and Principles has always been felt by Deltans in his words he Praised the "NEW SPIRIT" in the Zone. Saying, "The NEW SPIRIT in the Zone has made us more STRONGER & UNITED"
He further Praised the Unity heralded by the Summit and Prayed for a sustenance.
